Etsy Thursday

In addition to our “regular programming”, every Thursday 7th House will be sharing some of our favorite finds from Etsy. If you aren’t familiar with Etsy, it’s an e-commerce site where artists can sell their creations without the added maintenance of their own shop. And what makes this e-commerce site different is that everything is either vintage or handmade. For more information about Etsy and how it works, click here. If you are already obsessed with Etsy (like me), hopefully this will be a fun feature and you will find some new Etsy sellers!

So without further ado, here is our first installment of Etsy Thursday!

I love this square Chevron pillow from Honey Pie Design. The fun graphic pattern along with the bold splash of color would make a great statement in any room. I’m thinking this might work really well in my office! Coming in at only $45, it’s really affordable for such big style. Be sure to check out the rest of the products over at Honey Pie Design’s Etsy store.

All of my friends know that I am obsessed with big, oversized handbags. This one is not only large in size but it has that classic “Audrey Hepburn” element. And you just can’t go wrong there! Made from sackcloth fabric, this handbag from CrazyBoy has handy interior pockets to keep all of your necessities in place.

I’ve been eyeing the vintage chalkboards from Revived Vintage for a couple of weeks now! This would look great in a home office, little girl’s room or even a laundry room to keep track of home chores. Wouldn’t it make crossing things off your To-Do list a lot more fun? Check out the rest of the products in their shop for more colors, sizes and styles.

These charming faux typewriter key thumbtacks from Repurposed Antiques would be great to use in any classic modern office. With a touch of old school flair, you can bring charm to an unexpected place. As the product description says, “no typewriter was harmed in the making of these thumbtacks!”. These thumbtacks are available in different word sequences including, “music”, “relax”, “laugh”, “faith”, “teach”, “peace”, “enjoy” and “dance”. But if you have another word in mind, you can always request it.

Now that was fun, wasn’t it? Check back next Thursday for more of our Etsy finds. Do you have any favorite Etsy sellers? Let us know in the comments!
