KEEPING YOUR HANDS CLEAN… STYLISHLY

Soap Dispenser Round Up / 7th House on the Left

Okay, so you guys might think I’m completely crazy, but I have a thing for soap dispensers. When I told Greg I wanted to write a post about this, he thought I was nuts. But oh well, it’s Friday, so why not spread the crazy on the internet. After all, it’s the internet.

Around here, we’re partial to vintage-style dispensers and we even like to switch them out once in a while. There are even some great disposable bottled soaps out there that not only have packaging designed well enough to display, but also have some really nice-smelling soap in them. Either way, soap dispensers are an easy way to freshen up your sink area and add a little personality to an otherwise boring space. I think that’s why I like them so much. Does that make me weird? Probably. But that’s okay, right?

I’ve always noticed that the soap dispensers in the Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware stores are really nice. Not those clinical metal ones. But odd thing is that they don’t sell them in the store. I wish they would!

Ooh, I love that pinky one in the vintage row, but I can’t see a source for it in the list?

    Thanks for sharing these!

Not crazy at all. I LOVE soap pumps too and have a vintage-looking one from Target (it’s sea glass and has an oil can nozzle, I’m sure you’ve seen it). I adore it – especially the nozzle – but the quality it lacking (the nozzle gets rusted very easily) so I’m hoping that a place like West Elm or Restoration carries something similar. The copper top pump from West Elm might be a good replacement 🙂

Haha, I loved this post — you are too cute!! If you ever see any foaming soap dispensers, please let me know! We’ve been DIY-ing our foaming hand wash, and I miss having an attractive soap pump. These are all so pretty!

Call us all crazy I guess! Ha:) I love soap dispensers to! They seem to always have a great selection at HomeGoods. At our HomeGoods the soap dispensers are scattered throughout the first section of the store and they always seem to have nice large ones. Let Greg know there are more of us out here that are suckers for soap pumpers! 🙂

My favorite soap and lotion for guests (and us to) is a Bath and Body Eucalyptus Spearamint…believe it or not. In fact I listed on my 5 Classic Gal Gifts. (http://projectmomma.com/five-classic-gal-gifts/). You should try it in your vintage dispenser!!

This is so cool! Well, at least you’re organized with your soap dispensers, it would make your bathroom/kitchen look more neat and appealing. By the way, love the vintage row! Ecletic on the other hand is so much new to me, looks great! Thanks for sharing this. 🙂

I also have a couple of soap dispensers, it started as a simple cheap one in my car because I meet with customers daily and one day my eye caught a beautiful class one in an antique shop, bought it and was hooked. They can really bring character to a bathroom and change them as the seasons change. Enjoy yours.

A bamboo soap dispenser is just what my husband would love. Maybe that’s what he’ll buy when the current one dies—they always do.

And rhubarb soap? I’ll have to look for that one.

We had a disposable dispenser at the kitchen sink dating back to our daughter’s fifth grade school sale (she’s now 41). It fell and cracked. After several false tries we now have a Simple Human no-hands dispenser, which we like.

This is a fantastic idea for a post. I always thought I was a modern girl, but I really liked your traditional and eclectic choices. And great idea to add the disposable category. They’re really common in real life and some are gorgeous and some aren’t so much. Thanks for posting!

What a fun post! I too love soap dispensers and have a hard time not buying cute ones that I don’t need. I am for sure a modern girl, as I own two of the four soap dispensers in your modern row!

Wow I just loved the designs of soap dispensers that are here. They are definitely best to make one’s interior look good. I would love to have Soap dispensers from the third row.
