I love this time of year because it’s not too hot or cold outside (perfect for grilling) and all of these bright and fun colors pop up in pretty much every store you go into. Since we’ve had so much snow this year and it’s actually started to warm up a bit, I feel like this Easter weekend is actually the “real” beginning of Spring. So, I’m welcoming Peter, Peter Cottontail that is, with open arms.
While I so wish we were spending our Saturday at an Easter Egg Hunt (yes, even though I’m in my 20’s, I’d totally be down for that), we’re actually going to be catching up on a few things around the house. Nothing too exciting, just general house work that we’ve neglected this week since we’ve been crazy kinds of busy with work. On Sunday, we’ll be spending time with our church family followed by a “quick” trip to Ikea. Since my mom and brother are in California at the moment (if you’ve recently started reading here, here’s a post about that), we’re not doing a big Easter dinner thing this year and just spending it at home with a movie — and maybe indulge in a Reese’s peanut butter egg. What are your plans for Easter weekend? Have an Easter Egg Hunt in your future? If so, tell me so I can live vicariously through you. Happy Easter weekend, everyone! Eggs found here.
